Rainlake Media produced short films to be screened in the Contemplation Room of the newly opened Manhattan Project exhibits, designed by Quatrefoils Associates, for The Los Alamos History Museum in New Mexico. The Manhattan Project was a top secret research and development undertaking based at Los Alamos during World War II that produced the first nuclear weapons. The Museum is part of the Los Alamos Historical Society, which preserves, promotes, and communicates the remarkable history and inspiring stories of Los Alamos and its people.
The exhibits were honored with the most prestigious recognition for achievement in the preservation and interpretation of state and local history — a national 2017 Leadership in History Award from the American Association for State and Local History.
Los Alamos serves as a catalyst for significant discourse about civil society and world peace.
